  • I offer private, 1:1 vocal + artistic coaching either in-person or virtually via Zoom. Voice actually translates quite well to the virtual medium, and we can discuss any audio specifics prior to our first session if need be.

Vocal coaching works best with consistency, therefore I have two options for ongoing work with me: weekly or biweekly sessions. I am available for one-off sessions for those who wish to get a tune-up, prep for a gig, tour, or audition, or just do a check-in, but most of my clients have an ongoing time slot that I hold for them on my calendar.

  • YES, voice lessons really do work!

I myself, along with countless other students, have transformed our voices through contemporary vocal technique, and getting to the bottom of what’s holding us back in our singing, rebuilding our instrument with new muscle memory, habits, and approaches. It can be done! I’ve seen + experienced amazing transformations - myself included! - through consistent vocal work + practice.

There’s this strange, pervasive idea in our culture that every singer is just “born with it”: either you have “it” or you don’t. Nothing could be further from the truth. Sure, did Whitney Houston likely come out with the innate ability to sing like the heavens? Well, yes, probably. But just because you might have to work harder at or for something, doesn’t mean you’ll never be able to do it. If singing is something that you love, that brings you innate and deep joy, I am a passionate believer in every person’s voice being their absolute birthright. I believe every voice has something special, worthwhile, and important to convey. I believe everyone should be allowed to claim and OWN their voice.

Why not give yours the chance it deserves? You just might surprise yourself. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

  • Great! The best way to get started is to book a first session with me so we can jump right in! There’s a little form I ask all new students to fill out to just tell me about you + your voice, and I will send more details regarding location or Zoom link once booked.

  • Absolutely! Voice is such a personal instrument, and no one knows that better than me. I offer complimentary 20-minute consultations via Zoom or phone call - just book the “Vibe Check” above and we’ll hop on a call to answer any of your questions.

  • Vocal work yields the best results with consistency, however I do understand that life happens.

Once booked, lessons are non-refundable. I do allow reschedules within the same calendar month with no additional fee or cancellation window, however.

For ongoing clients with regular weekly or biweekly time slots: I operate under a monthly membership structure. I hold a regular spot on my calendar for you, and students are financially responsible for all lessons in the calendar month. All lessons are allowed to be rescheduled per my Reschedule Policy above. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate roll-overs to following months for ongoing clients.

  • Spoiler alert: yes, you’re gonna need to practice. Sorry - but signing up for lessons isn’t going to just magically change your voice. I’m good at what I do, but I ain’t THAT good. You’re a major player here - I can’t do this without you! This is a collaboration: I will guide you, make it crystal-clear what I’m hearing in your voice, explain why it is or isn’t working, and most importantly, I will spell out for you, with notes + a practice regimen, how to change this. I will lead you there, and then you’ve got to take it on home by doing the work!

I typically recommend starting out with a realistic, doable, but consistent practice regimen: 2-4x a week, for even just 15mins is a great place to start. If you can do more, awesome! If that’s all you can swing, just do what you can. Anything is better than nothing. But think of the voice like any other muscles or sets of muscles in your body, like strength training. Consistency is going to payoff, even if it’s in little, bite-sized bits.
